Tuesday 11th November – Video call

Can a meeting end early?

  • Yes, if all areas and questions have been covered, the teacher can end a meeting early.

Can I ask a question before the meeting?

  • Yes, parents can ask one question prior to the meeting on the school cloud booking system and the class teacher will endeavour to answer this during the meeting if time allows.
  • Login to access your video appointments you will need to login to https://wallacefieldsjunior.schoolcloud.co.uk/ and one hour prior to your first appointment, a Join Video Appointments button will appear. Please click on this button and the SchoolCloud software will automatically take you to your teacher appointment without the need to dial-in for each individual appointment. A full guide on how to make video appointments is attached to this email.

What happens if my child has a SEND need that can’t be covered in 6 minutes?

  • Parents of children with a special educational need, may book another follow up meeting with their class teacher.

Please note that, as parents you are making your own bookings at a time that best suits you.  Appointments are now open to book and the booking system will close at 9pm on 6th November.

A few last points:

  • We would prefer if children did not attend the meeting.
  • Appointments will be available for class teachers only.  If your child is currently in a maths group, the class teacher will be provided with information on your child’s progress and attainment.
  • If separated or divorced parents would like an individual appointment, it will be necessary for both parents to set up appointments using their separate email addresses registered with the school.
  • If parents are in separate locations, one parent can book and invite the other parent to join the video call prior to the meeting.

We hope that you have a thoroughly enjoyable and productive meeting and please do contact the school office with any problems regarding the use of this system.

Yours sincerely
