We hope you are well. We are writing to inform you about the school holiday arrangements for the 2026–2027 academic year. As you may be aware, Surrey County Council has made changes to the school calendar, including an extended October half term and a shortened summer break. While we have raised concerns about the impact of these changes, the decision has now been finalised by the local authority.
Despite these challenges, we are pleased to share that both the Infant and Junior schools have worked closely together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and families. The Infant school is part of an academy trust, while the Junior school remains maintained by Surrey County Council. Through careful negotiation and collaboration, we have agreed that the holiday dates will remain aligned and as published on our respective school websites and the Surrey County Council website.
Term Dates for 2026–2027
Autumn Term:
- Tuesday 1 September – Friday 18 December 2026
- Half Term: Monday 19 October – Friday 30 October 2026
Spring Term:
- Monday 4 January – Thursday 25 March 2027
- Half Term: Monday 15 February – Friday 19 February 2027
Summer Term:
- Monday 12 April – Wednesday 28 July 2027
- Half Term: Monday 31 May – Friday 4 June 2027
Please note that INSET (staff training) days have not yet been confirmed, but we will publish these as soon as they are agreed.
