Event Timings and Pick Up

All welcome to come along and watch the singing and dancing at Celebration Evening from 3pm on Friday 23rd June 2023, so you may like to book the afternoon off work.  

WFIS has given permission for parents to collect their children from the Infant School at 2.45pm,so they can come and watch any older siblings at WFJS.

Timings will be finalised at the dress rehearsal but are likely to be as follows:-
•    3.00pm-3.20pm -Year group singing led by Mrs Johnstone 
•    3.20pm- Dance Festival/hip hop performance
•    3.25pm-Theatre Arts performance

At the end of the performances, approximately 3.40pm, the class teachers will dismiss the pupils and then all families can attend the fair together.  If there is any issue with the later finish time then please email as soon as possible the school office on Office1@wallacefields-jun.surrey.sch.uk

Children in Year 5 and 6 who usually walk home, may attend the summer fair. Those who do not have permission will need to wait for collection. Children at the fair once dismissed by their class teacher are the responsibility of the parent/carer and no longer the responsibility of the school.

We are expecting the fair to finish between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.  Thanks so much in advance for your support. All funds go directly into the school fund and enrich and support the school curriculum in so many ways.
 

Your Help is Needed - Volunteers and Donations

But like always these events will not happen without your help. This year we are asking for 8 volunteers from each class to fulfil one slot in any area of the fair.

Don't forget to bring in sweets on Monday 19th, bottles (mufti day) on Wednesday 20th and cash for the tombola (cards will be accepted on other stalls) on the night.

Pre-Sale of Wristbands for Bouncy Events

To save time and costs, we are pre-selling wristbands to allow your child/children of all ages to enjoy unlimited use of the inflatables AND prize-winning games (excluding lucky dip and tombola). Each wristband is £10 or brought in multiples at £9 each.

Homemade Craft Stalls Still Available

If your child would like to sign up to run a craft stall on their own with a friend. It would cost £10 for a table and they can keep any profits they make. It is for home-made crafts only. Email wfjspta@gmail.com to find out more.

Can Your Employer or You Donate a Prize to Our Silent Auction?

  • Can you help to make this auction even more profitable for our lovely school.

If you or your employer can help please get in touch by emailing wfjspta@gmail.com. If a company is donating please remember we are a registered charity and we can provide a lovely letter giving both our charity number and more details about our fair. We are extending the deadline for donations to Tuesday 13th June 2023.

We already have some amazing lots donated by local companies and some very kind parents including days out at Chobham Adventure Farm Painshill, Bocketts Farm and the London Wetland Centre, a round of golf for 4 at Malden Golf Club, a meal at Five Guys and £100 of John Lewis vouchers!
