We have some lovely Wallace Fields Junior School events to get parents and children in the Christmas spirit planned in the few weeks before Christmas.
Wednesday 10th December 2025 is the children's Christmas lunch day. All children will receive a Christmas cracker and are permitted to wear with their school uniform a Christmas jumper, headdress or tinsel if they wish. Children who have school lunches (and all those who normally have a packed lunch who signed up) will be served a Christmas dinner. Anyone having packed lunch is welcome to bring their packed lunch Christmas themed with maybe a few more treats than usual- please remember no nuts permitted.
After the success of last year we can't wait to bring back the festive magic of our Christmas Fun Days! On 11th December 2025 for Years 3 & 4 and 12th December 2025 for Years 5 & 6, all children will be invited to join us throughout the school day to enjoy a variety of Christmas games, arts & crafts, inflatables, hot chocolate and Christmas snacks. ALL included in one inclusive donation price of £8 per child. This means your kids get all the fun of the Christmas Fair without us asking for your precious time and commitment to help! On Monday 15th December we are holding our Christmas Concert at Epsom College Chapel. Rehearsal is in the morning and the concert is from 18.40-19.40. We hope to see all the children and parents/carers to celebration together in this lovely annual event.
Parents are warmly invited to come along and support our wonderful School Choir as they spread Christmas spirit in Alexandra Park Recreation Ground, right by the Park View Café, on Thursday 11th December 2025 from 12:45 to 13:10. The children will be singing a selection of carols to bring joy to the community, and we would love to see as many parents as possible there to share the festive atmosphere!
Thanks to your amazing generosity, the PTA has something truly special lined up! On Wednesday, 17th December, the incredible Cat’s Grin Theatre Company will be visiting our school to perform a fantastic pantomime for the children. It promises to be full of laughter, excitement, and festive cheer – a wonderful way to celebrate the season together. We cannot wait to see the smiles on their faces! Thank you once again for making this magical experience possible!
