A huge thanks as one of our governors collected his long service award after stepping down back in the autumn term. Mr Paul Stokes was a governor for over thirty years and contributed hugely to school life including helping on a plethora of schools trips and residential trips - more specifically the Year 6 trip to France. He has been away travelling and so on return to the UK he has found some time to come in and he has collected his departing token of thanks from the school.
I have worked with Mr Stokes for many years and he will be missed, however I feel he has certainly proved his commitment by putting in over three decades of support into Wallace Fields Juniors.
