This week we celebrated British Science Week 2023 at school with a variety of activities. On Monday and Tuesday, the Year 6 'science buskers' wowed the children with their break time demonstrations (laser slinkies and inseparable books being the fan favourite!). On Monday, the whole school joined in the BBC Science live lesson and considered friction, air resistance and gravity. Additionally, the whole school science photography competition is still open! The deadline is on Monday 20th March 2023 and children can submit their entries on the assignment in their Google Classrooms. Please do encourage your child to take part; the winners will be framed and displayed around the school building.
