Wellbeing Day

On Friday 14th November 2025 we will be reflecting and to exploring strategies to help improve wellbeing. The children will be taking part in wellbeing sessions, taking part in calming art activities, Sports Crew will be helping lead PE activities, and there is an African dance workshop that all the children will get a chance to take part in.

The favourite well being activity that the children absolutely love is cosy reading when all children create a cosy environment and enjoy their favourite books.  So please remind your child to bring in cushions, blankets and books for Cosy Reading on Friday 14th November 2025.

Children are to wear their school uniform but can wear odd socks on Friday 14th November 2025.

Crazy and Odd Socks Day

Crazy or Odd Socks Day is designed to celebrate individuality and raise awareness about bullying. Children wear odd or mismatched socks to show that it's okay to be different and to encourage acceptance and kindness.

This is not a fundraising but an awareness event.

African Dance Workshop

To complement our recent assemblies on Black History Month, we are delighted to welcome the Education Group, who will be presenting an energetic and interactive African Dance Workshop to the children on Friday 14th November.  The children will learn some of the different traditional African dance moves native to this vibrant and diverse culture. To cover the cost of the visit, we need to ask for a voluntary donation of £3 per child. It is not possible to run the wide variety of workshops and trips available, without parental contributions. Please make your payment via our on-line payment system Scopay, as we are now a cashless
school.
