Year 5 are currently studying the journey of the river and its surrounding environment, we have organised a river walk and a visit to Bourne Hall to learn about the importance of the spring in Ewell. The trip is planned for Thursday 3rd October 2024 and we will be leaving school at 9.30am and returning to school at 3.00pm. Please note, pick up and drop off is as usual.
This trip is completely free of charge. As we already have parental consent for local walking trips, you do not need to sign a permission slip.
For the trip, all children will need:
- A packed lunch
- Water bottle (plus an additional drink for their lunch- no fizzy drinks/glass bottles please)
- A waterproof jacket/coat
- Trainers to change into at school in a carrier bag (the walk can get muddy in places)
- A clipboard (if you have one)
Children will be required to wear their school uniform and must bring a warm waterproof coat. They will change into their trainers once they are at school.
