Cold Weather
With the cold weather comes gloves, coats, scarves and swathes of additional clothing that end up in the lost property box (in the quad). Please label everything as much as possible and the clothing will be returned to the owner. No label means it will probably be thrown away or sold at the used uniform sale (thanks to the PTA for organising these). If your child has lost an item then please come to the main office and you will be directed to the lost property box which you are free to explore.
Snow Plan
With the recent snow flurries locally, it has put us on snow alert again. Please note that we have a snow plan and ultimately the learning will go to online if the school is forced to close. I do not want to tempt fate by saying that school closure is highly unlikely, however, you should keep a close eye on the website as a decision to close school will be made very early in the day following reports from the school caretaker and discussion with the infants. No notice of school closure is indication that the school is open as usual. If the snow creates staffing issues, we will use all available staff to keep the school open as our highest priority. We will ensure a safe route into the building once you arrive at the school gate and normal lessons will take place. Early collection will be made available if a significant snowfall is forecast before the end of a school day.
