On Wednesday, 9th October 2024, we gathered together to commemorate the harvest season with a special assembly. The house captains took centre stage to educate and inform us about the significance of Harvest and its importance in many cultures around the world. They shared stories and traditions associated with this time of year, highlighting the themes of gratitude, abundance, and community sharing. The assembly provided a valuable opportunity for students to reflect on the blessings in their lives, as well as to consider ways in which they can give back to those in need. Through this experience, students gained a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of coming together to celebrate and support one another during times of plenty and times of scarcity. We sang two lovely songs, perhaps you can ask children at home if they remember the songs and can sing a bit to you.

This year instead of collecting donations in to school, we request that any donations, should you wish to make any, be made directly with local food banks. We are sharing the information we received from Epsom and Ewell Food Bank with you so may be able to help those nearest to us with essentials. Thank you so much for all your thoughtful help and support each year.
