The Year Group Book of the Month will be new books introduced to each year group each month for the teachers to share an extract of in library time. The book will then be in a classroom for the children to borrow or for the class to read together. The books will be added to the newsletter each month as a 'recommended read' for home. If the children like them, they are more than welcome to read them at home.
The year groups books for this month (January) are:
- Year 3: "Oscar's Lion" by Adam Baron and Benji Davies
- Year 4: "Foxlight" by Katya Balen
- Year 5 - "Impossible Creatures" by Katherine Rundell
- Year 6 - "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones
