On Friday, 15th December, Year 3 had a visit from nearby Alexandra Dental Practice. Mr K. Christian and Laura, a dental nurse at the practice came armed with giant mouth casts, toothbrushes, charts and stickers and gave an entertaining and informative talk about 'How to care for your teeth.'
They allowed the children to ask many questions which enabled them to clear up many of their misconceptions as well as give them a clear understanding of why sugar harms you teeth and the best way to brush you teeth (and tongue!).
