On Tuesday 23rd June 2026 we are celebrating Diversity Day. Children should dress up in clothing which reflects their cultural heritage. Here are some ideas about what children could wear:
- A traditional outfit that shows your ethnicity/culture (kurta pajama, lehenga, kimono etc)
- A team shirt of a country that reflects your cultural roots - in any sport (cricket, rugby, football)
- Wear your country's flag colours – face paint/accessories are allowed
- Create your own – paint or draw on a T shirt with fabric paints to show your culture
Please note this is not a Mufti Day and the theme of the day must be observed. Additionally, if any classes have PE they should make sure their clothing and shoes are sensible or they bring their PE kit in a bag to get changed into later. National sports kit (Scotland rugby shirt / England football top) though not local league teams.
