The annual Borough Opportunities for Children – Music Festival 2026 takes place at Epsom Playhouse. It is a wonderful event where all local schools get together to sing and is always very popular at WFJS.

As usual, the show will be performed over two evenings. These are:

  • Tuesday 24.3.26 (5.00pm – 7.00pm)

  • Wednesday 25.3.26 (5.00pm – 7.00pm)

In addition, there will be a dress-rehearsal day: Monday 23.3.26 (10.00am – 2.30pm) - WFJS will attend the afternoon rehearsal from 12pm.

Unfortunately, numbers for each school are restricted to 16 which I find very disappointing as it means I can't take every singer from the upper school choir. I do take a different choir both evenings so that 32 children get the opportunity, but this is still not enough. I therefore offer places to Year 6 pupils first with the remaining spaces taken by Year 5 pupils drawn out of a hat.  All the parents/carers of Year 6 and the selected Year 5 have now been contacted with a Google form to identify their preferred day.
